今天来继续学习写作满分句型——修辞。也是写作中非常重要的句型哟！
前十天我们学习了一些考研英语作文中可以使用到的满分句型。一定要好好复习！除了这些句型之外，我们也可以“拔高”一下自己的语言。这时候我们就可以用到修辞了！我们小学学语文的时候就学过修辞，什么比喻、排比，拟人等。老师让你们写作文的时候经常推荐你们用这些修辞对吧？英语也是一样的，我们在写作的时候也可以用到修辞，让语言更丰富，描写更生动形象。
1. 比喻
这里指的是明喻，……像……一样。在句子中用比喻会使句子更形象生动。比喻可以在第一段尾句或第三段首句总结文章中心的时候使用。基本句型：A is to B what/as C is to D
A对B而言正如C对D一样
Air is to us what/as water is to fish.
空气对于我们犹如水对于鱼。（也就是说空气对我们很重要）
变体：
What C is to D, that A is to B.
Just as C is to D, so A is to B
A对B而言正如C对D 一样
例：
What exercise is to the body, that reading is to the mind.
=Just as exercise is to the body, so reading is to the mind.
读书对于精神犹如运动对于身体一样。
这几个句型可以互换：
What blood vessel is to a man's body, that railway is to a country = Railway is to a country what blood vessel is to a man's body. =Just as blood vessel is to a man's body, so railway is to a country.
铁路对于国家好比血管对于人体一样。
必背句型：
表示……很重要：
Sth is important :
例：Confidence is to 人
what water is to fish/
what the foundation is to high skyscrapers/
what the infinite blue sky is to little larks/
what sunshine in spring is to all creatures on the earth.
= Confidence is important.
表示……很严重（坏）
Sth is serious
例：sth seems to 人
what pollution is to all the human beings./
what intensive pain is to the terminally ill patients./
what grave natural disasters are to powerless natives.
2. 排比
排比句是把三个或以上意义相关或相近、结构相同或相似、语气相同的词组或句子并排在一起组成的句子，在作文中使用可以让句子更生动，语气更强烈。Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.我的一生被三种简单却又无比强烈的激情控制着：对爱的渴望、对知识的寻求和对人类苦难的难以忍受的同情。a small and peaceful towna stupid and incorrect decisiona direct and simple yet magically effective methodWe were in the midst of shock—but we acted. We acted quickly, boldly, decisively. (Franklin D. Roosevelt, American president)我们正处在危机之中，但是我们行动了。我们快速、大胆、果断地采取了行动。（美国总统， 富兰克林·德拉诺·罗斯福）The impact that technology has had on our modern life and society, in general, is undeniable. The computer will become even greater as it gets faster, smaller, smarter, and so inexpensive is it that virtually everyone will be able to own one.技术对我们现代生活和社会的影响通常是不可否认的。在电脑变得更快、更小、更智能的同时，其功能会变得更强大，而且价格低得几乎每个人都可以拥有它。As one of modern college students, I get online every day to acquire the information I need, to download the music and movies I like, and to chat with the friends I miss.作为一名当代大学生，我每天上网获取需要的信息，下载喜欢的音乐和电影，和想念的朋友聊天。If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.如果有谁在怀疑美国是否是一个万事皆可能发生的国度，有谁在怀疑我们祖先的梦想在我们这个年代是否依然存在，有谁还在怀疑我们国家民主的力量，今晚就是给你们答案的时候。
修辞是给作文锦上添花的，要保证句子本身正确的前提下再玩点“花活”。句子正确是第一位的，不确定自己写不写得好的情况下，就写自己有把握的句子。
